Players abroad: a fashion show, a stun from Mwepu, a strike from Emmanuel Banda and a goal scored in Zambia, Russia

Zambian players abroad have continued to shine at their respective clubs.

Fashion Sakala Jnr scored his first career hat trick on Sunday, Enock Mwepu scored a beautiful goal at Anfield against his childhood club Liverpool. Evans Kangwa was on target despite his side’s loss while Emmanuel Banda scored the only goal of the game in Sweden.

In Austria, striker Francisco Mwepu is treating an injury. He had knee surgery last week so he missed SK Sturm Graz’s 3-0 win over Wolfsberger AC.

In the DRC, defenders Kabaso Chongo and Tandi Mwape filled up for TP Mazembe who won 2-0 against FC Simba Kolwezi.

In Denmark, Lubambo Musonda and his AC Horsens teammates will be in action at Capelli Sport Stadion against HB Køge.

In England midfielder Enock Mwepu scored a stunning goal as he opened his English Premier League goal tally as Brighton and Hove Albion came back from two goals to hold Liverpool at Anfield.

At King Power Stadium striker Patson Daka came off the bench to play the final 20 minutes for Leicester City who unfortunately succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.

In Israel, winger Lameck Banda replaced Maccabi Petah Tikva, who suffered a narrow 1-0 loss at Hapoel Jerusalem.

In Portugal, Kenneth Kalunga and his CD Cova de Piedade teammates suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Real Sport in La Liga 3.

In Russia, Evans Kangwa and Klings Kangwa combined for a goal, Klings with a cross and Evans with a well-directed goal.

Unfortunately, that was not enough as Arsenal Tula suffered a 2-1 loss to Sochi at Stadion Arsenal in a Week 13 meeting in the Russian Premier League.

In Sweden, midfielder Emmanuel Banda scored the only goal of the game as Djurgadens IF returned to victory by beating Örebro 1-0.

Banda was then taken out at half-time for Curtis Edwards while Edward Chilufya played the first 73 minutes before giving way to Nicklas Robert Bärkroth.

In Scotland, showman Fashion Sakala Jnr scored his first career hat trick as FC Rangers came back from a goal to beat Motherwell 6-1.

The treble brings its total of goals to four after scoring against the same opponent on September 19.

South African players will be in action on Tuesday, Lazarus Kambole and his Kaizer Chiefs welcome Stellenbosch from Nathan Sinkala, Supersport United from Gamphani Lungu is to Royal AM. Toaster Nsabata and his Sekhukhune face off against the Orlando Pirates while Mwape Musonda and Austin Muwowo will be at Golden Arrows.

In Tanzania midfielder Rally Bwalya made a complete change to Simba SC who played a goalless draw with Coastal Union.
